History
Two Saints started as a housing project over twenty years ago. Today it has several housing projects which are described below. The Assessment Centre, approximately one year old, is in response to changing patterns and is a unique service in the country.

Current Activities
There are several housing projects which follow, broadly, on from each other as the service user goes through the recovery process.
The Assessment Centre - this 11 bed unit can accommodate people for up to 28 days while they are assessed regards their mental health needs. This is a very intensive unit with plenty of support and 1-1 care.
Mill House - this 36 bed unit is 'stage 1' and link workers help people to identify issues preventing them from moving on. These issues are then addressed over a period of up to two years.
Stage 2/3 projects - there are several houses which offer more responsibility for those who, in agreement with Two Saints feel ready for it. Within these houses service users deal with cooking, cleaning and shopping either as part of the house or independently. Support is still available and weekly assessments are carried out with each service user.
Stage 4 projects - these flats, which are strictly limited in numbers, are used to help people adjust to moving on under their own steam. They have more independence and are visited weekly. There are two assessments at three months and six months, if these reviews are successful then the person is nominated to the city council for their own flat. Support may be ongoing if agreed upon.

Future Plans
To continue and consolidate the Assessment Centre, adjusting any procedures as necessary. To work with the HAST team looking at offending behaviours
