History
Port of Call is an Adult Mental Health Project run by Community Integrated Care. The service has been open for 7 years and runs as a Drop in Centre and Internet Café. We offer 1:1 support for Internet use and also have meeting rooms on the first floor which can be used for private 1:1 support.
 
At present we are working on developing a ‘Chill Out Room’ which will be available for individuals who need ‘Time Out’ etc.
 
At Port of Call we offer various activities including Job Searches via the Internet, Board Game afternoons, monthly Barbecue’s, Quizzes and Knit and Natter afternoons. We also have a Healthy Living Lunch Club on alternate Tuesdays were a Health Trainer visits to offer nutritional advice.
 
Port of Call is the perfect place to come and socialise and relax. It is a safe haven were no-body is judged and all are treated equally.
 
Port of Call is at present developing a new Website which will we hope wo have fully up and running in the New Year.
 
Referral Method
Referral can be from Care Manager, GP, Occupational Therapist.
