MENTAL WELLBEING AT THE PORTSMOUTH & SOUTHSEA SHOW

Over the three day annual event, this year on 4,5,6 August 2005 on Southsea Common, those with an interest in mental health ran a pitch to raise public awareness. As well as stress testing, a prize draw and art to view, information about self help and resources were made available. People were invited to complete a questionnaire which will give us an indication of local public awareness of mental health issues. In addition, we asked the question "Feeling down? What makes you feel better?".

Also at the show, visitors to our pitch had the opportunity to complete our mental health awareness questionnaire and enter our prize draw for a signed Pompey FC shirt. We've just managed to meet up the winner .......and so it's congratulations to Tracey Kaye of Lee on Solent (centre) pictured with her husband Andrew being presented with the prize by Debra Keane, representative of the organisers.
